The Gran Fondo CALELLA SCOTT, is a road cycling tour, which promotes adventure, effort and personal improvement with the incredible places of the province of Barcelona to offer the participant a unique sports experience with the most careful organizational level.

This regulation can be corrected, modified or improved at any time by the organization.

The completion of the registration implies the total acceptance of these regulations.

ROUTES

​

• The route describes all the details in the ROUTE section of the test website.

• The Organization will publish the final tracks a few days before the test. Likewise, detailed information and schedules will be published on this website (www.granfondocalella.com).

• The itinerary will be permanently open to road and pedestrian traffic, to the free movement of animals and agricultural vehicles. The runner must respect the rules of the road at all times and take extreme precautions when reaching crossroads and highways (as traffic will not be controlled as it passes), being himself responsible for the recklessness and infractions he commits. The Organization will not be responsible for accidents or damages that may arise from the omission on the part of the brokers of the highway code.

• The Organization reserves the right to modify the route, refreshments, mileage and the date of the test if it deems it necessary.

• Each participant must be autonomous when managing a possible mechanical incident, in any case, the organization will put in the aid stations the basic material to facilitate possible basic repairs and an assistance vehicle at the end of the march.

MODALITIES

• You can participate in 2 modalities: Large fund and medium fund

• The Gran Fondo Calella SCOTT is a non-competitive march.

REGISTRATION

​

​ MANDATORY MATERIALS  

​

• All participants must bring the following mandatory materials that will be verified before departure:

​

     - The use of an approved helmet will be mandatory.

     - Road bike

     - Mobile phone with a freshly charged battery. The Organization will provide telephone numbers to notify you in case of emergency.

CANCELLATION POLICY

​

• In case of total cancellation or postponement of the event by government order due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following conditions will apply (to be chosen by each participant): ​​​

​

1. Transfer of registration to the 2022 edition.

2. Reimbursement of 75% of the total registration to those who do not have cancellation insurance contracted and 100% to those who do have cancellation insurance contracted.

3. In case of postponement of the test, participants who do not have cancellation insurance may transfer their registration to a partner. ​

​

• The registration fee will only be refunded in the event that the event is definitively canceled for security reasons due to the epidemiological situation of Covid19. In this case, only bank commissions would be charged.

•   A cancellation insurance is established with a price of € 10. 

• The cancellation insurance covers the refund on the total amount of the registration as stipulated in the following paragraph.

• Participants who contract cancellation insurance may exercise the right to refund the registration fee without having to justify the reason. This insurance covers different percentages of the total refund depending on the date on which the cancellation is communicated by email to the following e-mail communication@sportevents360.com Any return will incur a € 10 insurance charge for management fees.

• 100% up to 20 days before the test 50% up to 10 days before the test from this date no refunds will be made.

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

​

• The organization is not responsible for the loss or theft of property of the participants during the course of the event.

• If any participant who has exceeded the maximum time of passage wants to continue along the itinerary, he will do so under his full responsibility and risk, since the organization considers him outside the test and will not be able to offer the services. Therefore, the organization is exempted from any claim related to this matter.

• It is totally forbidden to join the test without being previously registered. The Organization in no case will be responsible for the people who carry out the march without registration.

• All runners will be respectful at all times with the environment, especially with the use of the roads, rivers and environments through which the route circulates. It is strictly forbidden to throw any type of waste or garbage outside the places authorized for it. Failure to comply with this point will lead to the immediate disqualification of the participant.

• Each participant must abide by the rules and instructions of the Organization, especially in the development and control of the test (controls, departure, arrival, award ceremonies, etc.)

• The Organization may neutralize the race if it considers it necessary at any time and cancel or modify any section of the route or entire stage if in consensus with the competent Authorities it is considered that the development of the test, either due to inclement weather or some other event Extraordinary activity entails a danger to the physical integrity of the participants.

• If the exit could not be given in the event of a pre-emergency situation  or force majeure, the stage or the race would be suspended without the possibility of any claim against the organizer as it is a matter outside their powers.

• Any runner who abandons the race must notify the Organization as soon as possible.

• The Organization will have evacuation services, ambulances and health personnel.

• The Organization may oblige any runner who is not in adequate physical condition or does not comply with the maximum time limits established at the different control points to withdraw from the race or to take an alternative fast route by road.

• The Organization may disqualify or sanction those who do not respect the traffic regulations, do not have the number, do not carry the regulatory material, do not behave in a correct, ethical and moral way and do not obey the instructions of the security agents, staff of the Organization or civil protection. Likewise to those who avoid the control steps by means of shortcuts in the route or do not use the equipment and facilities enabled for the test in the correct way.

DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMAGE RIGHTS

​

• The participant should know that a test like the Gran Fondo Onvelo Mataró leads the body to very intense and prolonged limit efforts. The Organization understands that registration by the participant means that the participant has adequate physical and mental conditions to carry out the effort involved in the test and that the proper medical controls have been carried out to certify it.

• The participant is solely responsible for their own behavior and driving, assuming the risks, even against third parties, that may entail the fact of participating in this event, both at the level of physical and mental effort, such as falls or other types of injuries, Therefore, it expressly releases the organization of the test and / or any sponsor or collaborator, in the event of any type of accident, incident, injury or eventuality that may arise derived from participating in the test. In the event of an accident, the runners and their companions undertake individually with their responsibility from all points of view (economic, civil and criminal). The Organization will not be jointly responsible for the expenses or debts that the participants may cause before, during or after the test, nor for the loss or damage that the bicycles or other equipment of the participants may suffer during the test.

• Registration implies accepting the transfer of all individual image rights to the Organizer so that they can freely make use of photographs and videos captured during the test in order to communicate or promote it in whatever medium that the Organizer deems appropriate.

• The Organization reserves the right to resolve those exceptional situations that may arise from the interpretation and application of these regulations.

• The Organization has a civil liability insurance policy and accident insurance according to current legislation.

• The mere fact of registering for this event implies acceptance of these regulations. Ignorance of it does not exempt the participant from its compliance.

In compliance with the provisions of the Organic Law of 15/1999, of December 13, Protection of Personal Data ("LOPD") and Law 34/2002, of July 11, services of the company of the information and electronic commerce, CD Sportevents360º inform them, and you consent that:

All personal data provided by you through the data collection forms on the website www.sportevents360bike.com and www.sportevents360.com, are incorporated into an automated personal file for which Sportevents360º is responsible and which is duly registered in the Data Protection Registry. • Promote or advertise the activities, services and articles offered by SportEvents360º, as well as those of the sponsors of the Gran Fondo Lloret Costa Brava

With your consent to the registration process and to the corresponding form, you expressly authorize the transfer of your requested personal data for the aforementioned purposes in favor of any of the aforementioned entities, both SportEvents360º, and the event sponsors as well as your data can be used to send commercial or advertising communications by ordinary mail, electronic mail, SMS or any other means, or so that they can call you for the purposes described above. These authorizations are revocable at any time without retroactive effects. In any case, you can revoke the consent given at any time and exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, addressing for these purposes at the address of SportEvents 360º, Joan Salvat Papasseit 42 attaching a photocopy of the DNI.
